A teenager had his jaw broken during an attack in Glasgow city centre on Thursday.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital after he and another teenager were assaulted by two men on Sauchiehall Street at 3.30am.
He is currently being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary where staff describe his condition as ‘stable’.
The second 19-year-old did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which took place near Holland Street.
Officers believe the attackers, along with a third man, ran off towards Charing Cross shortly after the assault.
The attackers are described as both white, 6ft tall, one with light fair hair wearing black clothing and the other wearing dark clothing.
