RANGERS have completed the signing of Preston North End hitman Joe Garner for a fee believed to be around £1.8m.
The 28-year-old travelled to Glasgow yesterday to undergo a medical and has put pen to paper on a three-year Ibrox contract.
However, the deal comes too soon for the striker to be involved in the Rangers’ matchday squad for the visit of Motherwell today.

Deal done! @RangersFC manager Mark Warburton tells me: “Joe Garner is a hungry striker, real edge to his game – a quality addition to squad”

He scored six goals in 44 appearances in the Championship last season, with 27 goals in League One during the previous campaign.
He joins Martyn Waghorn, Joe Dodoo and Kenny Miller as Mark Warburton’s striking options in their first season back in the Premiership .
