JOZO SIMUNOVIC’S £3.5million transfer to Torino is now dead in the water, with reports on the Continent insisting he HAS failed his medical.
Sources in Croatia earlier today told Record Sport Online the Celtic defender’s knee had not passed rigorous examinations.
Sky Sports and the BBC claimed the deal was still on – and that the hold-up was down to Torino’s offer being changed.

But it is now widespread in both Italian and Croatian media that the issue was due to his knee.
Simunovic is quoted as saying the injury has been “invented”. The 22-year-old, is now due to return to Glasgow, added: “Imagine saying I have problems with a healthy knee.”
Whatever the reason, the move is off.
