AT least two people have been hurt after being thrown from a fairground ride in Ayr .
Emergency services were called to an incident involving a ride at Ayr Racecourse at 9.30pm.
Police tell us a number of people have been taken to Ayr and Crosshouse Hospitals for treatment.
It’s reported on social media that those injured were on the Tagada ride in the carnival believed to part of the Scottish Air Show weekend celebrations.
Witnesses describe “walking wounded” after the incident.
Police and three fire engines are attending the scene.

Just a few months ago, the Tsunami ride at M&D’s theme park injured eleven people, including children when a carriage came off the rails.
And just this week, the Smiler ride at Alton Towers malfunctioned, leaving passengers dangling from the rollercoaster frame.
