TV bosses decided to bring back the show after 13 years and the hype around the show’s return was incredible.

In the new series, we find Adam (James Nesbitt) in Singapore, having spent the time since his wife Rachel’s death working around the world.

Meanwhile, his teenage son, Matthew, is under the wing of Karen (Hermione Norris), who has sobered up and climbed the career ladder.

Her ex, David (Robert Bathurst), is still making bad decisions, one of which is staying married to divorce lawyer Robyn.

And Pete and Jenny (John Thomson and Fay Ripley) are working hard to stay out of debt.

The gang meet up when Adam comes back to Manchester with a life-changing announcement.

The new series of Cold Feet is on ITV on Mondays at 9pm.
