Manchester City’s match against Borussia Monchengladbach has been rescheduled for tomorrow, kicking-off at 7.45pm.

Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Etihad was postponed 19 minutes before kick-off, on the advice of the stadium safety officer, with both clubs and UEFA in agreement with the decision.

The decision was taken because of safety and security issues around the ground, with conditions treacherous because of the incessant rain, not because the pitch was unplayable.

Roads around the stadium were flooded, with cars abandoned, while walkways around the ground were treacherous to navigate, leading to the unanimous decision to postpone the game.

The two sides will now try again on Wednesday evening.
