OLIVER Burke’s German adventure is off to a flying start.
Just four minutes into the 19 year-old’s full debut for Red Bull Leipzig, the young Scot hit the back of the net to put his new club into a one-nil lead against FC Koln.
The teenager arrived in Germany amidst much fanfare and hype after a shock £13million move from Nottingham Forest.

But already it appears the flying winger – who has already earned comparisons with welsh wizard Gareth Bale – is going some way to repaying the money that Leipzig have splashed out on him.
Watch Burke score his goal here …

He has since had to wait patiently for his chance to start for the newly promoted side, and with today’s goal becomes the first Scotsman to score in Germany’s top-flight since former Aberdeen defender Brian O’Neill netted in November 1999.
And going by reaction to the goal on Twitter, Scotland fans are starting to get excited about the wonderkid…
