The X Factor judges made some tough decisions as they whittled their acts down to the final three at the weekend.

Sharon Osbourne has her work cut out with The Overs, with 12/1 odds of one of her hopefuls winning.

She is backing Honey G – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – despite her being seen as a joke act by some viewers. But the rapper impressed Osbourne and guest judge Robbie Williams with her rendition of Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise.

Emily Middlemas, 18, Samantha Lavery, who is just 16, and Gifty Louise, 20, were all picked by Simon Cowell for the girls category.

Waiter Matt Terry, 23, currently the bookies’ favourite to win at 7/2, was chosen in Nicole Scherzinger’s boys section, along with Ryan Laurie and Freddy Parker.

Louis Walsh selected Bratavio, Brooks Way and 5 After Midnight from the groups.

SAMANTHA LAVERY

Emily Middlemas – Simon’s given the eighteen-year-old Glaswegian – who will perform with a guitar on the live show – a girl next door-style makeover. She was known to viewers before, as she reached Judges houses back in 2014.

Gifty Louise – Originally from Ghana, she came to UK 10 years ago. She made Boot camp last year, and now the glamorous 20-year-old now wants to go all the way and win.

Sam Lavery – 16-year-old student Samantha sailed through the first rounds of the competition with Nicole calling her, “an English raw diamond in the rough”. But following a simply but pretty shift in style, the budding star is now all sparkle.

FREDDY PARKER

Matt Terry – Brought up in Spain before heading to the UK, Cowell said 22-year-old Matt reminded him of Olly Murs. But after his makeover, all we’re seeing is a startling similarity to One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.

Ryan Lawrie – Singing since his teens, the 20-year-old Scot won a competition earlier this year and sang at Wembley stadium at Capital Summertime ball.

Freddy Parker – An 18-year-old who just finished college, Freddy is an adorable self taught singer with no formal training. But don’t let his inexperience fool you, as he looks set to get far in the competition.

SAARA AALTO

Honey G – Rapper by day and recruitment consultant by night, the 35-year-old’s signature style will remain when she takes to the stage for the first time.

Relley C – Hotel housekeeper from Birmingham, the gorgeous 26-year-old has been writing music since she was just 12, and her flirty new look might just be what she needs to go all the way.

Saara Aalto – 29-year-old Finnish singer Saara Aalto was an easy choice for Nicole having supported her from her first audition when Nicole told her: “That was so good you make me want to twerk right now.”

Showing off her gorgeous figure in her promo shot, Saara already looks like the perfect popstar.

KYLE & JOSH BROOKS

5 After Midnight – Trio that Cowell says has “genuine potential”. Kieran, Nathan and Jordan share a love of music and dance.

Bratavio – Bradley, 22, and Ottavio, 22, are both from Southampton and are one of this year’s novelty acts. As expected, they’ve retained their kooky style ahead of the first live round, and seem determined to not change for anyone.

Brooks Way – Twin brothers Josh and Kyle, 17, began singing in their local church where they met Sinitta. Spent two years gigging and now hoping for big break.
