Emmerdale villain Emma Barton is out to get Ashley Thomas.
The murderer, who killed husband James, knows the vicar is starting to have flashbacks from last week’s horror crash.
Police visited her in this evening’s episode after being tipped off by Ashley that he saw someone standing at the top of the bridge from which James was pushed.
Before he remembers for sure that it was her, Emma decides to pay him a little visit.
As the pair sit down for what seems like a friendly cup of tea, she decides to start playing mind games with the dementia sufferer.
In a bid to convince him that his symptoms are worsening more than he realises, she rapidly starts switches the topic of converation.
When he’s left confused, she tells him that the dementia is playing tricks on him.
Ashley then becomes agitated and emotional with the situation, leaving Emma to comfort him.
However, what she doesn’t realise is that he has a secret camera filming everything and it’s only a matter of time before he watches the footage back and realises what she’s done.
Is this the beginning of the end for Emma?
Or will mthe crazed villager resort to more extreme measures to keep herself out of prison?
