IT’s almost 22 years since we witnessed Eric Cantona kung-fu kick a Crystal Palace fan and cause uproar across the world of football.
Many doubted we’d ever see such horrifying scenes again.
Yet Sebastian Pol, an Argentinean striker who plays for Chilean side Audax Italiano today brought back haunting memories of the infamous Cantona.
As the full-time whistle blew on his side’s 4-1 defeat to Universidad Catolica, Pol decided to take his anger out on a fan who had been goading him from the sidelines.
He was later escorted by the police who arrested him in the changing room.
It’s now expected the Argentine will receive a long-term suspension from the game.
