A SECOND man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a dad-of-four.
The 30-year-old is expected to appear in court on Tuesday on charges relating to the death of John Smith, 52, from Stevenston, Ayrshire.
John was stabbed at his home in Stevenston, Ayrshire, on October 8 and died in hospital three days later.
Another man, John McDade, 30, was also injured.
Police had previously issued an appeal for the whereabouts of a 30-year-old Craig Munro in connection with John’s death and had warned the public not to approach him.
Last week, Allan Robertson, 26, appeared in court in relation to the death.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
