THE Auld Enemy have announced their 25-man squad ahead of Friday evening’s World Cup qualifier with Scotland.
Temporary England boss Gareth Southgate has named a largely unsurprising team which is without Tottenham’s Dele Alli after the midfielder was ruled out with injury.
Manchester United defenders Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw are not included in the team as they each picked up knocks before their team’s 3-1 success over Swansea on Sunday.

Jack Wilshere comes back into the squad after missing out in the Three Lions’ previous qualifiers, while Spurs striker Harry Kane makes the cut after returning to action with his club.
All but one of England’s squad members play their football in the English Premier League, with the exception being goalkeeper Joe Hart, who is currently on loan at Italian side Torino from Manchester City.
Meanwhile Gordon Strachan will take heart from the return to form of two of his midfielder players.

James Morrison started his first Premiership game since January and scored in West Brom’s 2-1 win over champions Leicester City.
Elsewhere, Robert Snodgrass came off the bench to score and set up another in Hull’s 2-1 victory against Southampton.
