Four darting superstars helped raise £2000 for Poppy Scotland with a recent exhibition night at the Royal British Legion in the town.
Former world champions Ted Hankey and Andy Fordham along with Tony O’Shea and Darryl Fitton showed off their skills on the oche while dinner and a comedian were also laid on for everyone who attended.
O’Shea claimed the title with a 5-4 win over Hankey in the final, but more importantly, they helped raise funds for charity.

Poppy Scotland convener Cameron McConnachie, said: “I would like to thank all the businesses and people who are supporting Poppy Scotland’s fundraising efforts in the Bathgate area. Ted McMillan, with the help of the darts event held in the Royal British Legion Bathgate, started the total off by raising over £2000 which we are delighted with.”
He added: “There are many volunteers helping raise vital funds for this worthwhile charity.”
