Bruno Mars has proven he is the King of Cool in the latest edition of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke.
The singer took his place in the passenger’s seat and used his journey time to teach the British host a thing or two about being hip, as well as singing along to some of his best hits at the top of his lungs.
Dressed in a soft silk shirt, gold chains, and dark sunglasses, the Locked Out Of Heaven star was invited by an enviable Corden to take off his white cap and try on some ridiculous hats, in an attempt to prove he can pull off anything.

“I feel like there isn’t a hat that you can’t wear,” says Corden, before handing him hats of all shapes, sizes and colours. As expected, Mars looks amazing in them all.
The pair belt out hits like Locked Out Of Heaven, Grenade, Uptown Funk and Mars’ new song 24K Magic, as the excitable star catches passers-by off guard through his window.

Throughout their journey, Mars basically gives Corden a masterclass in how to be cool, from fashion and pulling the perfect poker face, to channelling Elvis and wooing ladies in the bedroom.
“Let the shoulders do the talking,” says Mars, and as Corden tries to take the funk guru’s advice on board, it makes for some awkward but hilarious entertainment.
But by the end, the duo are two peas in a pod as they have tonnes of fun on final song Perm.

Speaking about his newfound identity, Corden beams: “I’ve never felt more alive!”
