An early season Highland thriller.
Richie Foran’s side were undone by Staggies hat-trick hero Liam Boyce in one of the best games you’ll see in a long time.
Both teams had started the season sluggishly, as they were dumped out in the group stages of the Betfred Cup and had lost their first league match.
Scott Boden and Ross Draper were on target for Caley as they played their part in the early season bumper but it was Boyce who sealed the deal on a big derby win for the Dingwall side.

Inverness 3 Hearts 3 – October 29
The Caledonian Stadium has been the venue for some action-packed matches this season.
A few weeks earlier the Caley Jags had held Celtic to a 2-2 draw, and they followed that up with a six-goal thriller against Hearts.
This was a pulsating match, and David Raven and Lonsana Dombouya put the Highlanders two-up in the first half.
The Jambos roared back to 2-2 though, firstly through Bjorn Johnsen before Faycal Rherras equalised in the 51st minute.
Caley Thistle weren’t finished yet and they edged ahead again as Aaron Doran fired the home side back into the lead.
The action wasn’t over though as Belgian midfielder Arnaud Djoum gave the visitors a share of the spoils in a game which will live long in the memory.

Substitute Callum McGregor pulled a goal back before Patrick Roberts equalised in the 70th minute.
The Hoops joy was short lived though as Lionel Ainsworth made it 3-2 to the Steelmen just 60 seconds later.
More drama was to follow as Stuart Armstrong equalised a minute later.
A magical game was finished in style as Celtic’s Australian playmaker Tom Rogic netted a winner in the 90th minute to cap off an incredible comeback.

Two of our selections happened on the same day.
Rangers and Aberdeen may not have had as many goals but it was it was a ding-dong battle from start to finish.
Mark Warburton looked on the brink after a lifeless 2-0 defeat to Hearts three days earlier, but his charges responded with one of their best showings of the season so far.
Jayden Stockley should have put the Dons in front but his point blank header went wide, and Kenny Miller punished that miss by firing the Ibrox side ahead.
Lee Hodson doubled the home side’s lead with a powerful finish in the 70th minute.
Clint Hill and Ryan Jack were shown second-half red cards before Andrew Considine scored a late consolation goal for the Derek McInnes’ men.

Dundee 3 Hearts 2 – December 23
Up until the 54th minute this looked like a routine first victory for Ian Cathro at Hearts … and then the unlikely-looking Dundee comeback happened.
Jamie Walker and Callum Paterson had fired the away side into a comfortable 2-0 lead, but Paul Hartley’s side pulled off a dramatic fightback.
Darren O’Dea started it off with a neat finish before Paul McGowan netted the equaliser before Marcus Haber found a winner in the 93rd-minute.
A pre-Christmas cracker as the league’s lowest scorers found inspiration to seal a stunning win.
