St John Ogilvie’s S6 pupils held their first staff and senior school Big Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The entire year group got behind the event, with many baking well into the small hours to ensure a range of delicious treats went on offer the next day at break.
Numerous other S6 pupils and staff donated cakes and biscuits.

The resulting event was an outstanding success, with all staff and S5/6 pupils making their way to the S5/6 area which had been beautifully decorated, to enjoy a cuppa and a wealth of cakes. The group managed to raise an unbelievable £815 in just 20 minutes.
Kaime Kilty from Macmillan Cancer Support visited the school to receive the cheque.
She said: “This is a fantastic sum of money to raise in such a short time.”
She added: “We are very proud of the efforts made by all S6 pupils to ensure this enjoyable event was a huge success.”
