The Voice UK makes its debut on ITV tonight and Mo Adeniran already looks like a star.
In tonight’s show – following the series’ move from the BBC – the 21-year-old seems to mesmerise the judges with a rendition of singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini’s Iron Sky.
In a bid to make Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and/or Gavin Rossdale press their buttons, it seems his vocals will leave a lasting impression with the coaches.
Will any turn around? And if so… who?
The 2014 track wasn’t exactly a hit for Nutini – reaching No.42 – so let’s hope the judges love his version.

ITV’s search for a star kicks off with Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Gavin Rossdale and Jennifer Hudson on the judging panel for this series of The Voice.
Will.i.am has revealed he thought the last series of The Voice on the BBC was a flop – insisting they can turn it round on ITV.
In their new home they’ve brought back Tom Jones, ramped up the sob stories and have a stylish new set.

Looking back to the 2016 series, Will told the Daily Mirror: “It lost its excitement for a lot of reasons. The singers last year, there was nothing really memorable. How they picked the talent was like, blah.”
Sounding more upbeat about the future, he adds: “Being on ITV now, you feel their excitement and the new stage and the production. Now every singer is great. We haven’t seen a seven. Everyone is eights, nines and tens.”
