A theatre star has swapped the stage for the small screen – after becoming the face of a top car dealer.
Ayr dad Chris Taylor is fronting a series of new adverts for motor giant Arnold Clark.
The slapstick skits feature Chris, 33, using a comedy routine to push a range of flash vehicles.
Clips filmed at the dealer’s Partick branch show Chris hurling paint as he promotes savings on used cars.
He said: “I got a call from an old college mate who is now a marketing executive with Arnold Clark.
“He was familiar with my work and asked me to put my name forward for the gig.
“I’ve been dining off the fact I did an advert for Irn Bru seven years ago, so it’s nice to be known for something else now.
“The clips have been going down really well online so who knows where it might lead.”
