Hearts have signed former Barcelona winger Choulay on loan from Stoke until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old left the Spanish giants for the Premier League side in 2015 but has struggled to make an impact and had a spell with Shrewsbury Town earlier this season.
Choulay – whose full name is Moha El Ouriachi Choulay – has been capped at U23 level with Morocco and began his career with Espanyol before joining the youth set-up at the Nou Camp.

Choulay is Ian Cathro ‘s sixth January signing after the arrival of Dylan Bikey, Aaron Hughes, Malaury Martin, Leonard Sowah and Andraz Struna.
The Tynecastle side are also said to be close to sealing a deal for former St Mirren striker Esmael Goncalves, who is currently with Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta.
