Rangers have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Jak Alnwick in a £250,000 deal from Port Vale.
The 23-year-old – who previously played with Newcastle – has joined the Ibrox side on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Alnwick insists the jump from England’s League One to Rangers holds no fear for him.
He said: “Sometimes that’s people’s problem when they get thrown into a big club – they get a bit overwhelmed.

“But for me it won’t be like that. I’ve done it and will take it all in my stride.
“I’m looking forward to every single moment at this fantastic club.”
Current back-up Matt Gilks has been linked with a move away from Rangers, and he’s expected to join Championship side Wigan Athletic. It’s understood he has already left Glasgow.
The goalkeeper made 79 appearances for the Valiants in the past two seasons and picked up the club’s Young Player of the Year award.
Alnwick becomes Mark Warburton’s fourth signing of the window following the captures of David Bates, Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman.
