Scotland is continuing to show its thriving musical talent on the new series of The Voice, as yet another Scottish act makes its way through to the next round.

Bosie took to the stage for their blind audition on Saturday night, instantly drawing the attention of the judges and the studio audience.

But it was Scottish-born rocker Gavin Rossdale who snapped them up, after taking a keen interest in their explosive dark pop performance.

Ahead of the performance, best pals Richard Graham and Glasgow-born Taylor Logan were determined to impress the judges with their broody rendition of Chris Isaak’s 80s hit Wicked Game.

They said: “We’ve got one chance at it so we really need to go and nail it.”

But once they’d successfully made it through the audition, they were excited to make the most of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

They said: “We’ve found something that we both love to do. I’m looking forward to every moment of it.”

The pair later took to Twitter to say: “So grateful to be on this season of #thevoiceuk and to be representing Scotland. Bring on the battles.”

Gavin told Bosie: “You are unbelievable. I’m thrilled to have you on my team. I loved that sound.”

Tom Jones chimed in to add: ““The reason I didn’t turn is because I’ve already got two duos on my team. But if I didn’t, I would have pushed my button.”

But it wasn’t just the judges and audience who were blown away by Taylor and Richard’s performance.

Twitter soon exploded with praise for Bosie, with compliments coming at them left, right and centre, with more than a few proud Scots jumping in to pay their congrats.
