A Hibs fan has admitted trying to punch Rangers star Lee Wallace during the pitch invasion after last year’s Scottish Cup final.
Dale Pryde, 20, also punched fan Jordan Gilmour on the head and hit supporter Megan Boyd with a chair following Hibs’ 3-2 win at Hampden in May.
Pryde, from Balerno, Edinburgh, climbed over a fence, ran towards Gers skipper Wallace and lunged at him.
The thug initially appeared on petition at Glasgow Sheriff Court last June. Prosecutors later reduced the case to a summary complaint. Pryde pled guilty to two assaults and a charge under the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act.
Sheriff Tony Kelly QC deferred sentence until later this month for reports.
