Ryan Gosling impostor accepts La La Land award as stars look stunned by outrageous hoax

A host of Hollywood stars looked on stunned as a Ryan Gosling lookalike blagged his way to being given an award at a Germany film ceremony.

Although the man – cook Ludwig Lehner – only bares a passing resemblance to the La La Land hunk, he was still able to fool organisers at the Goldene Kamera awards.

The stunt saw comedians Klass Heufer-Umlauf and Joko Winderscheidt create a fake acting agency, and a promise to bosses that Gosling would appear if he was honoured with a prize.

After the presenter introduced the Hollywood superstar, Ludwig walked out on stage.

It quickly became clear to anyone who’s ever set eyes on the man himself that Ryan wasn’t the one standing in front of them.

“Good evening,” Ludwig began in a thick German accent. “I am Ryan Gosling, I dedicate this award to Joko and Klass, thank you very much.

“There a saying in Hamburg, which is bye bye.”

The audience was full of famous faces – no, not impersonators – and they all looked taken aback by the stunt.

Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell and Jane Fonda joined those in attendance, and they looked a little bewildered to say the least.
