Liverpool legend Didi Hamann reckons all-conquering Celtic would have a 50/50 chance of being relegated if they played in England’s top flight.
Brendan Rodgers’ side remain unbeaten in domestic football in Scotland and have already clinched the Premiership title by a country mile.
For years, there has been a debate about how the Hoops would do if they were to move to English Premier League and play their football down south.

But former German midfielder, turned pundit Hamann – who won a Champions League, UEFA Cup and two FA Cups with Rodgers’ former club – reckons Celtic would find it very different if they played in England.
And he’s convinced they would be in a dogfight for survival.
Hamann said: “I wouldn’t make Celtic any more than even money to be relegated.
“They would definitely be in the bottom third and I think they would finish between 15th and 18th.

“The likes of Southampton and Stoke City have so much strength in depth these days that I don’t see them getting into the top ten.
“And that’s despite their excellent efforts against Manchester City and Barcelona this season.”
