Police probing the alleged attempted murder of Ross Monaghan outside a school in the Penilee area of Glasgow have made an arrest.
Monaghan, 35, was shot outside St George’s Primary on January 16.
The victim, a well known gangland figure in Glasgow, was hit on the shoulder and was treated in hospital before being released.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 36-year-old man has been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the incident.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
