A rescue operation is underway tonight after a light aircraft crashed in Loch Long.
The alarm was raised at 3.45pm near the village of Tarbet, Argyll.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is leading the operation and Police Scotland is providing assistance.
It is not known how many people were in the small aircraft at the time and no details of any injuries have been released.
A police spokeswoman said: “We can confirm Police Scotland are assisting the Maritime Coastguard Agency following a report of a light aircraft crash in Tarbet around 1545 this afternoon.”
