Tokio Myers has won the 2017 edition of Britain’s Got Talent.
Beating off stiff competition from 10 other acts in the live final on Saturday night, the singer managed to clinch victory in an emotional and highly-charged show.
Having managed to fly past firm favourites such as the Missing People Choir and Matt Edwards, the Londoner managed to beat the odds and win the grand prize of a performance at the Royal Variety show.

Having composed a haunting and euphoric take of Rag ‘N’ Bone Man’s hit-single Human, Tokio charmed both the judges and the nation at home with his musical abilities.
Put head-to-head with pint-sized magician Issy Simpson, the 32-year-old collapsed in shock as it was revealed he’d won the grand prize, and would be performing for the Queen and the royal family.
Falling to the ground in what appeared to be a slight faint due to the shock, Tokio was picked up from the floor by hosts and Ant and Dec before he was lavished with praise by Simon Cowell and the rest of the judging panel.

Recovering enough to perform the song one last time to the studio audience, he received a standing ovation from both the judges and the audience.
It wasn’t hard to see why the public flocked to his side on the night after his performance, which closed the finalists’ performance section.
“That was the act of the night,” David Walliams told him, while Alesha Dixon was almost lost for words after the electric performance, simply saying: “That was incredible.”

Amanda added: “I would adore to see something like this in the Royal Variety Show. You have come from nothing and tonight you were everything.”
While the man himself Simon Cowell gave him possibly the biggest reaction from the judging panel this series, as he said:
“It’s tough to get what you want in this business [music]. For me this was absolutely breathtakingly good. As an artist, as a person… I could not be happier for what you’ve done just now.”
