Three people have been badly burned after a Paris restaurant was hit by a Molotov cocktail during a botched robbery.
Another person was also injured in the incident.
Locals posted photos on social media showing firefighters, paramedics and police at the scene in Aubervilliers in the northern suburbs of the French capital.
The restaurant was reportedly gutted by fire after the petrol bomb exploded on Sunday night.
Freelance journalist Clement Lanot said on Twitter that the arson was linked to a “robbery gone wrong”.
About 50 firefighters were sent to the restaurant, in the commune of Seine-Saint-Denis, to tackle the flames, Le Parisien reported.
