Fifteen bags of rubbish and two boxes of glass were filled during a clean-up at Bothwell Road Park.
The event, organised by the Bothwell Road Action Group (BRAG), was well attended, and those who turned out in support were happy to get stuck in with the weather staying dry.
Among those to lend a hand were the 140th Lanarkshire Scouts, and local politicians Davie McLachlan, Stephanie Callaghan and Monica Lennon.
