KENNY Dalglish ought to be knighted for his help of the Hillsborough victims, his house metropolis

Glasgow Metropolis Council’s Frank McAveety stated: “The Hillsborough catastrophe transcended sport and Kenny has performed a central position with victims’ households of their quest for fact and justice. We consider that a knighthood can be a becoming recognition of this.”
After the tragedy, Dalglish attended followers’ funerals and visited most of the injured in hospital.
The catastrophe put an enormous pressure on the previous Celtic and Scotland star, together with his daughter – TV host Kelly – saying: “All of the emotion and stress, all the load of duty he felt, took its toll.”
