
Brigadier-Common Johnson Olawumi signing condolence register on his condolence go to to the deceased’s household
The Nationwide Youth Service Corps has assured the household of the corps member, Samuel Okonta, killed through the Rivers State rerun elections which held final weekend, of its help.
In a press release issued on Friday by its spokesperson, Abosede Aderibigbe, the Director-Common of NYSC, Brigadier-Common Johnson Olawumi, gave the reassurance throughout condolence visits to the deceased’s household and the palace of the Ogbelani of Illah city in Oshimili North Native Authorities Space of Delta State, Obi Akazue Gbemudu II.
He implored political leaders, conventional rulers and different opinion leaders to guard corps members posted to their communities and thanked the individuals of Illah for the nice and cozy reception accorded him and his entourage even of their state of grief.
Whereas expressing his sympathy to the household of the deceased, Olawumi said that the corps member died “whereas contributing in the direction of fostering a reputable electoral course of and to the event of his fatherland” and added that steps have been being taken to convey his killers to ebook.
