Eskom believes 5% pay hike provided to staff is adequate

&#thirteen; JOHANNESBURG – Eskom says though it believes a 5 % pay hike it provided to staff is adequate, it’s nonetheless open to negotiations. The union is demanding a rise of between 15 and 18 %. (Edited by Leeto M Khoza)
Staff affiliated to the Nationwide Union of Mineworkers (NUM), have rejected the supply.
Wage negotiations began this week.
