JOHANNESBURG – The South African Clothes and Textile Staff Union (Sactwu) says will probably be pushing native producers to revise insurance policies and agendas to develop the export business.
Commerce and business minister Rob Davies at the moment participated in a Clothes, Textile and Leather-based Business Imbizo on the Cape City Worldwide Convention Centre.
Sactwu says the occasion was aimed toward injecting new life into the textile business.
The union’s common secretary Andre Kriel says the union is encouraging the clothes and textile business to re-orientate their packages and turn out to be extra targeted on exports.
“We thought that we will’t simply chill out now that issues are stabilising; we now have to have a imaginative and prescient of the place we need to lead the business and we thought exports are fairly a great incentive and it’s fairly a superb step to develop the business additional (sic).”
Kriel says the clothes and textile business has reached a secure state and is prepared for greater progress.
