JOHANNESBURG – The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) has referred to as on Sanral to cease issuing summonses to motorists with excellent e-toll debt, insisting the system is flawed.
Outa has been preventing towards e-tolling even earlier than it was carried out in December 2013.
The roads company is now within the means of sending out notices to summon motorists who’ve been ignoring their excellent payments.
Outa’s Wayne Duvenage says inaccuracies imply these summonses won’t achieve courtroom.
“They’re very poor in high quality they usually have errors on them; they don’t present us with the paperwork, the small print, the textures and all of the stuff that can be required in courtroom to defend this matter. We’ve indicated that that is going to be an issue for them and their legal professionals.”
