WE’VE teamed up with Entertainment One Films to bring you the chance to see I, Daniel Blake, the award-winning new movie from British director Ken Loach.
And the best bit is, you get to watch it completely for free.
I, Daniel Blake is a powerful, poignant snapshot of life in modern Britain and a film that we believe every reader should see.
So we’re giving you that opportunity to attend a special screening on Tuesday 11th October, 6.30pm – before its official cinema release on Friday October 21.

You’ll get to view it before it hits the cinemas by claiming a free ticket to one of our screenings. Just remember to act fast, as tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The film’s plot is built around Daniel Blake, who has worked as a joiner most of his life in Newcastle. Now, for the first time ever, he needs help from the state following an illness.
He crosses paths with a single mother of two Katie, whose only option has been to accept a flat 300 miles away from her home town.
Daniel and Katie find themselves in no-man’s land, caught on the barbed wire of welfare bureaucracy as played out against the rhetoric of ‘striver and skiver’ in modern day Britain.
