GORDON STRACHAN faces one of the most important team selections of his four-year reign as Scotland boss in Slovakia tomorrow.

The national manager’s preferred 4-5-1 formation was found wanting against Lithuania on Saturday with just a few opportunities presenting themselves in front of goal against the side ranked 117th in the world.

Now a victory against the second seeds is crucial. A win in Trnava will as good as end the Slovaks’ hopes of qualification for the World Cup while delivering a huge boost to the Scots’ own chances.

How far should Strachan shake things up though? Is it time to go two up top? Who should lead the line? Is it time for a change of defence?
