CELTIC deservedly secured their place in the Betfred Cup Final following a day of tension and high drama for the 50,697 crowd at Hampden.
Rangers fans and Hoops supporters had flocked to the national stadium in their droves for this match with the Light Blue legions hoping to put September’s 5-1 league defeat well and truly behind them.
But it’s the green and white of Glasgow that’s celebrating claiming a place in next month’s Final against Aberdeen tonight though – thanks to Moussa Dembele’s winner – but Gers fans will take a crumb of comfort that their side managed to run their rivals a lot closer and never suffered a bigger defeat on a day of high drama at Hampden.
