Rangers look set to complete their first deal of the January transfer window with the signing of American midfielder Emerson Hyndman with the player having arrived at Glasgow Airport on Sunday afternoon.
Hyndman, currently of English Premier League side Bournemouth, is expected to agree terms on a loan deal at Ibrox for the rest of the season.
20-year-old Hyndman started his career with MLS side FC Dallas before moving to England to join Fulham in 2011.

His performances at Craven Cottage caught the attention of Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and he signed for the south-coast side this summer, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Celtic also said to be keen on the midfielder.
Hyndman has been capped twice by the US national team however has failed to breakthrough into the Cherries’ first-team this season.
