Four people arrested after riot police called to 'siege' at flat in Glasgow


Four people have been arrested after riot police were called to a disturbance at a flat in Glasgow .

Emergency services were called to the property in Ibrox Street at around 6.10pm to reports a man had barricaded himself in a flat.

More than a dozen police cars, ambulances and fire engines attended the incident along with police dogs and officers in riot gear.

The street was cordoned off while police dealt with the situation.

Four people were eventually removed from the flat at around midnight.

Police confirmed three men and a woman have been arrested over the incident.
