Pupils at Our Lady and St Anne’s Primary welcomed a magical visitor who helped teach them vital road safety messages.
A road safety magic show told the children about how to stay safe as a pedestrian and car passenger.
The magician used a variety of tricks to get the pupils’ attention and they were mesmerised from start to finish.
Councillor Graham Simpson, chairman of South Lanarkshire Council’s Road Safety Forum, said: “The magic show was well received by pupils and teachers alike.
“Anything which really brings the road safety message to life is important for this age group and I am delighted that the pupils seemed to react well to this new and interactive way of learning.”
The show, by Allan’s Magic, was for the P1 to P3 classes.
