Dramatic CCTV footage has captured a man getting hit in the head by a runaway car tyre.
The clip shows a couple chatting as they walk along a pavement in Ipatinga, State of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
Suddenly a car tyre can be seen bouncing across the road at high speed towards the unsuspecting couple.
The man, named on social media as Roberto Carlos Fernandes, 50, is then hit in the back of the head by fast moving tyre and the impact throws him to the ground.
Passers-by attend to the knocked out victim immediately and blood can be seen on the pavement.
His female companion panics at first as Mr Fernandes is lying motionless on the ground.
An ambulance arrives quickly on the scene and thankfully the victim can be seen sitting up, getting first aid treatment from the paramedics.
He was taken to hospital and is recovering, having suffered mild concussion and injuries to the chest, local media reports.
