Pupils at schools across the area proved they were reddy to do their bit for charity.
Children were given a bit of leeway to show their support for the nationwide appeal on Friday.
Many – like the two from Noblehill Primary in Dumfries – donned the plastic noses that are the charity’s emblem.
And elsewhere there were non-uniform days with kids encouraged to wear something red.
